If you’re looking for something that will truly test you and your team, then Threat: Lethal Extra is the right mode for you. This team mode is not for the faint-hearted – prepare for a brutal battle where every step and every decision could mean the difference between life and death. Space Marine VR: Defenders of Avarax transforms with this mode into a true epic challenge that tests not only your resilience but also your coordination and tactics.
What is Threat: Lethal Extra?
If you thought Threat: Lethal Ultra was already a challenge, Threat: Lethal Extra takes things to the next level. This mode is designed for true warriors who aren’t afraid to face not only waves of deadly enemies but also the time pressure that forces you to act quickly or risk catastrophe. You and your teammates will need to prove absolute synchronization to make it to the end.
Mission Duration 45 Minutes – This version of Lethal adds 15 extra minutes to the original time limit, meaning more time to push deeper into the heart of the battle. But beware: more time doesn’t mean it gets easier. Quite the opposite! The enemies are stronger, and the waves arrive more frequently. If you fail to complete your tasks in time, the game will send you back to the last checkpoint. Every second counts.
Restarting after every death – If the entire team falls, the whole process restarts. Your team must be perfectly synchronized, and each member must have a strategy for survival. If you fail, you start over – but that’s not the end; it’s a challenge to try again and do better. Controlling chaos and working with time will be key.
Enemy Waves – Enemies charging at you will become increasingly aggressive. Swarms of Hormagaunts, Tyranid Warriors, Gargoyles, and other beasts will force you into constant defense and teamwork. Without sufficient coordination, you won’t be able to withstand the waves that come at you in endless succession.
Challenges that force you to act quickly – Every second is crucial. After each wave, you must act quickly and decisively. Time is your enemy, and even though you have 15 more minutes than in the regular mode, you’ll still be under immense pressure.
What changes in Threat: Lethal Extra?
Increased Combat Intensity – Once you engage in combat, everything around you will become more intense. Enemies are stronger, faster, and arrive in even greater numbers. At first, it’s manageable, but over time, the enemy waves become overwhelming. There’s no time for mistakes; every step must be carefully planned.
Tactical teamwork is essential – This mode is not for lone wolves trying to save the day on their own. Coordination between team members is critical for survival. You need to be mindful of your positioning, divide tasks, and help each other when needed. The key is that when one of you falls, the entire team falls unless positions are quickly restored.
Equipment for all players – Each player starts with one weapon but can collect additional types throughout the game. Frag and Stun grenades will be your biggest helpers in eliminating enemy groups and slowing their advance.
Time is unforgiving – Not only do you have 45 minutes to complete your tasks, but every second counts. The faster you complete your tasks, the better your chances of success. The answer to this challenge is simple: if you want to survive, you must reach your goal in time. If not, you’ll have to start over!
How to prepare for Threat: Lethal Extra?
- Communication – Without proper communication, it won’t work. During the game, you’ll have time to strategize about how to approach the mission. If you don’t talk, you’ll fail quickly. Make sure everyone knows what to do and how to handle different aspects of the mission.
- Quick decisions – There’s no time for hesitation. If you’re stalling, the next wave is coming. If something goes wrong, adjust your tactics immediately. Threat: Lethal Extra will force you to think quickly and decisively.
- Be prepared for anything – More than ever, you’ll need to be ready for the unexpected. Enemies may surprise you with unforeseen attacks, and if you don’t have a plan for every situation, you’ll quickly lose everything.
